Covid Vaccine Mandates and the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995

By Stephen E Hughes

The Congressional Accountability Act (CAA), enacted in 1995, was one of the first pieces of legislation passed by the 104th Congress. The Act requires Congress and Legislative Branch entities to follow many of the same employment and workplace safety laws applied to private businesses and the rest of the Federal government.

Biden-Harris Administration and covid-19 supporting constituents are demanding mandatory covid 19 vaccinations; this forced upon the U.S. military, Federal and State personnel, and more. These mandates affect all age levels of children and adults, and worse, we do not even know how many more vaccinations will be required. Biden’s COVID action plan – “Path Out of the Pandemic” – published on the White House website makes the effect of the vaccine mandate clear.

But, Members of Congress and Their Staff Are Exempt From Bidens Vaccine Mandates! Joe Biden‘s new vaccine mandates for federal employees don’t apply to members of Congress or those who work for Congress or the federal court system! Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosisaid at a press conference on April 29 that the House couldn’t require members to be vaccinated.

While the Biden-Harris Administration is proclaiming unvaccinated Americans are dangerous to the U.S., and legal prosecution steps are considered, hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants from over a hundred nations are flooding through Biden’s opened borders, and are exempt from vaccinations. Biden’s administration is shipping tens of thousands of migrants at taxpayer expense throughout America.

Biden has said he hopes to bring about 95,000 Afghans to the U.S. over the next 12 months, resettling them in 46 states — including Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia. Already, nearly 41,000 Afghans are temporarily housed at U.S. military bases; thousands released, none required to take covid vaccinations.

Biden-Harris Administration mandates and executive orders launched as fully enforceable prosecutable laws, and many people have already been fined, arrested, and jailed.

The Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 must be implemented against Biden-Harris Administration’s lopsided, reprehensible mandates and executive orders. However, it appears no one in Congress dares to do so.
