Russia has sold Iran six ekranoplan ground-effect vehicles (GEVs), RIA Novosti has reported. The model sold to Iran is the ORION-20 Ekranoplan. It has been in operation in Russia for the past few years. The disputed boundary between India and China, also known as the Line of Actual Control (LAC), is divided into three sectors: western, middle and eastern. Russian fighter jets were recently deployed to Libya in order to support Russian state-sponsored private military contractors (PMCs) operating on the ground there.
